Claim Handler (GAP)

RCI Insurance is an insurance subsidiary of Mobilize Financial services which is wholly owned by Renault Group. The company offers a comprehensive range of financing and related services for car customers of Renault Group. Backed by an international network, RCI Insurance has established itself in Malta to deliver and service a portfolio of protection insurance products in a number of European Countries .
As our portfolio expands, we need to expand our operations team (currently 5 team members) accordingly. So we are looking for an experienced claim handler to join us and help us meet our customers expectations. Your primary role will be to determine the validity of claims received on our Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) Products sold in multiple European Countries
What you will do:
- Assessment of claims ensuring that both agreed turnaround targets and quality targets are met
- Identify and communicate any requirements to our clients and third party service providers in an effective manner
- Handle communications, regarding claims with service providers, sales partners solving problems swiftly and preventing delays
- Propose changes and solution to improve procedures and processes
- Ensure accuracy in communications to clients and sales intermediaries
- Keep up-to-date on technical aspects of the job – products, procedures and compliance issues
Who we are looking for:
- Language Skills: Fluent in German and or Italian is required. Fluent in English is mandatory
- Knowledge of Guaranteed Asset Protection Insurance
- Knowledge of Insurance Claim Management
- Experience obtained in a similar insurance claim management role
In this job you will have the responsibility to make decisions regarding claims. Therefore, you need the ability to assess situations, take equitable decisions and be able to present your reasoned arguments.
You have good communication skills and the ability to build good relationship. Also, your enthusiasm, resilience, your eye for details and accuracy will help you to succeed in this position
